The YMCA offers year-round competitive swimming for children ages 6-18 of varying skill and intensity levels.
YMCA Membership Required. Payment may be set up on a monthly draw from a bank account. Please contact the Y for details.
Swimming as a part of the YMCA SHARKS competitive swim team offers the opportunity to develop teamwork as well as individual swim skills that will last a lifetime.
Competitive season typically runs October thur mid-March.
Parents are asked to take an active part is the Parent Group by joining at least one of our committees and volunteering their time at home meets.

YSHARKS
|
Practice schedule is Monday and Wednesday, 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm, at Heritage High School, Tuesday and Thursday, 3:15 pm to 5 pm (High School); 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm (13 & Under Sharks), at the Y and Friday from 3:15 pm to 5 pm (Sharks). Friday lanes blocked at Y for individual workouts. Times may vary seasonally or when there is a schedule conflict. Parent Group will contact team members by email or check the YMCA Shark website for updates.

A high school swim team participant must be leaving or coming from their high school swim team to qualify for prorated fees. High school swimmers who leave for other sport are not available for the pricing plan. |

YMINI-SHARKS
|
Open to swimmers 6-10 years of age, Mini Sharks is a less strenuous program designed to introduce younger swimmer to competitive swimming. Mini-SHARKS have the option to compete in home swim meets and invitationals only. Practice schedule is Tuesday and Thursday, 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm, at the YMCA. Times may vary seasonally or when there is a schedule conflict. Parent Group will contact team members by email or check the YMCA Shark website for updates.
